Counseling Services

The Parris Foundation provides individual, family, and group counseling to crime victims at community offices and through home-based sessions. The Parris Foundation facilitates outreach events, hosts community education presentations, and participates in community informational fairs. Through such outreach, the Parris Foundation serves crime victims who might not otherwise be reached and provide or refer them to needed services and connect them to services for the purpose of supporting or assisting in their recovery.

The Parris Foundation provides direct victim services in the form of:

(1) assistance with crime victims’ compensation
(2) assistance with Texas SAVNS/VINE
(3) information and referral
(4) crisis intervention
(5) counseling
(6) assistance with victim impact panels and statements
(7) victim follow-up
(8) victim advocacy

Victim Services are provided at little to no cost to you.

Ethics and compassion guide the counseling and wellness services provided by the Parris Foundation. Professionals trained in spiritual and religious issues, expressive arts, and dual-diagnosis are available for both office and home-based services.
